Making History | Rowing | South Africa
11th February 2017, East London...
The Brittain Brothers won the most prestigious race on the South African Rowing Calendar at the 130th Buffalo Regatta, East London (one of South Africa’s oldest sporting events).
The Grand Challenge win was taken out by the 4 brothers Charles, Lawrence, Matt and James, who for the first time in history, rowed together.
“I am so stoked for the Brittain Brothers on their win! Rowing for the first time together against stiff competition with pretty much their entire family name on the line (or should I say, in the boat!) and all the hype leading up to the event – couldn’t have been easy on the nerves. For them to pull this off in Dead Reckoning’s hometown of East London was also really special! Well done champs!” – Jono Bruton Dead Reckoning Founder
Kitted in Dead Reckoning Black Flag Collection raglans co-branded with South Africa’s biggest rowing supporter Rand Merchant Bank, the #BrittainBrothers obliterated their competition in a spectacular race with an electric atmosphere from the banks of the Buffalo River!
