I y'am what I y'am:
My whole life I remember being around the ocean. From picking oysters off the rocks as a kid, to braaing ollies in a pot on the fire as the sun went down, the sea has always had a special place in my life. Capturing her daily moods really inspires me. No two days are ever the same.
An ideal day?
Waking up in the Transkei and feeling the gentle warm breath of a land breeze. Those are the best days I can spend the whole day in the ocean on days like that.
Aspirations?
I love bringing a small piece of the ocean into people's lives as often as I can. That's the most rewarding and satisfying thing to what I do. Making people want to put down what they are doing and just go for a swim....or plan a holiday to the coast...that makes me happy.
